The Philadelphia Dermatological Society was established in 1900, and is one of the nation’s premier local dermatological societies.
Throughout the year, the member academic institutions of the Philadelphia Dermatological Society host patient-viewing meetings which consist of live patient-viewing sessions, patient discussion sessions, and scientific lectures. The goal of these meetings is to provide high quality educational meetings for local dermatologists and to serve our patients by discussing the latest and most appropriate diagnostic and treatment plans for our patients.
As a member Society in the Atlantic Dermatological Conference, the Philadelphia Dermatological Society participates in the Atlantic Derm conference and hosted the 2015 Atlantic Derm meeting in downtown Philadelphia.
The Society currently has over 270 active members and approximately 75 resident physicians, fellows and post-docs who actively participate in our meetings.
